2024 Practice Schedule and Information


North Pole WC is a sanctioned USA Wrestling Club for youth ages 5 to adult;
practicing Freestyle, Folkstyle, and Greco-Roman wrestling.

Practices are held at the North Pole Middle School, located at 300 East 8th Avenue , North Pole.
Upstairs in the mat room.

Practice Dates:
NOVICE - Monday, January 29 - Tuesday, April 30.
ADVANCED -Monday, March 4 - Tuesday, April 30.


Novice K-5th (or based on Coach placement):
START DATE: Monday, January 29
Practice will be held at the North Pole Middle School (upstairs in the mat room).
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6:00-7:00 p.m.
On the mats and ready to warm up @ 6:00.

Advanced 6th-12th & Adult (or based on Coach placement):
START DATE: Monday, March 4
Practice will be held at the North Pole Middle School (upstairs in the mat room).
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 7:00-8:30 p.m.
You should be warmed up and ready for the mats @ 7:00.


We will be implementing random skin throughout the season. 
Please arrive early enough to be ready on the mats by the start of practice.

Practice Clothing:
Athletic shorts/t-shirt or singlet. Mat shoes and headgear are required. Mouth guards are optional.
(Singlets, headgear, and mat shoes for tournaments.)
The team store will be open TBD

If your wrestler is sick, please keep them home.
NO SNAPS, ZIPPERS OR BUTTONS ON ANY PRACTICE CLOTHING.
NO STREET SHOES ALLOWED ON THE MATS.
Fingernails must be trimmed short. No jewelry of any kind.
Long hair must be kept up in a ponytail or a hair slicker must be worn.
